Giving Every Child Wings to Fly

On Sunday, 16th August 2026, at 3:30 PM, families, therapists, well-wishers and members of Aligarh's medical community gathered at Second Floor, Paragon Plaza, Anoopshahr Road, Manjur Garhi, to formally open PANKH Therapy & Development Centre — a warm, child-first space bringing early intervention, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, special education and family guidance together under one roof.

Chief Guest & Inaugurator

Prof. Syed Manazir Ali

Professor, Department of Paediatrics, F.H. Medical College & Hospital, Etmadpur; former Professor, Department of Paediatrics, J.N. Medical College, A.M.U., Aligarh, formally inaugurated the Centre and addressed the gathering on the value of early, accessible paediatric and developmental care for children in Aligarh.

How the Evening Unfolded

Step 1

Guests were welcomed at the second-floor premises and entered in the attendance register, with families guided separately to the screening desk.

Step 2

Welcome & Introduction

Founder & Director Mumtaz Begum and Co-Founder & Director Mohd Faisal Afridi welcomed the gathering and introduced PANKH as an integrated child development, early intervention and family support centre.

Step 3

Formal Inauguration

The Centre was formally inaugurated by Prof. Syed Manazir Ali, who addressed the gathering on the importance of early, accessible paediatric care.

Step 4

Guided Walkthrough

Guests were taken through the therapy halls, the sensory corner, and the assessment and consultation spaces, with the clinical team explaining the work carried out in each area.

Step 5

Meet the Clinical Team

The consulting and in-house team was introduced — spanning psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, special education and behavioural support.

Step 6

Free Developmental Screening

Complimentary developmental screening was offered to every child in attendance. Findings were shared with parents on the spot, and follow-up assessment was advised where indicated.

Step 7

Vote of Thanks

The Directors closed the evening by thanking the Chief Guest, the medical fraternity, institutional guests, families and the PANKH team for making the day possible.

On the Day

Free Developmental Screening for Every Child

Every child who attended was offered a complimentary developmental screening by our clinical team, with findings shared with parents on the spot. Please note: screening is not diagnostic and does not replace a full assessment — if follow-up was advised for your child, or you'd simply like one now, we'd love to see you again.
